Harrison James Kendall, U.S. Army - Operation Enduring Freedom, Forward Operating Base Salerno, Afghanistan, now 100% disabled combat veteran, has opened his firm, SDVOSB Materials, Technology & Supply LLC  to meet the needs of the marketplace and create on-going, successful business with engaged users, clients and buyers who are committed to supporting certified Service Disabled, Veteran Owned, Small Business (SDVOSB).

After serving our country in combat with the U.S. Army, Harrison was certified a 100% Service Disabled, Combat Veteran Business owner. To utilize his business administration skills, utilize the logistical expertise, perseverance and commitment to serve learned in the Army, and create jobs for other veterans, Harrison established a certified business, SDVOSB Materials, Technology & Supply LLC, that is verified by the VA, SBA, DoD, and the States of New York and Ohio, and is registered with SAM, Tungsten, WAWF, CAGE and DUNS. This technology-based supply, logistics and installation company provides a wide variety of high-quality materials, technology, and services around the country.

This firm currently supports management, installation, procurement, acquisition, logistics, contracts and projects with agencies, corporations, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and prime contractors. Service Disabled, Veteran Owned, Small Business (SDVOSB)

As a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs certified, 100% disabled American veteran, Harrison meets all of the requirements to serve as a SDVOSB supplier.  His company is ready-now to supply materials, technology, supplies, installation, etc. to Federal, State and Local government procurement, acquisition, logistics, agencies, contracts and projects, and prime contractors. Join Harrison as a supplier, manufacturer, or contractor, and work together to help ease the procurement process and WIN to serve veterans, government and American business. He will utilize high-technology supply chain and online purchasing to serve his clients on-time and on-budget in a wide variety of products and services from the USA and around the world.

Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concern (SDVOSBC) Program was created to provide agencies with the authority to set acquisitions aside for exclusive competition among SDVOSB concerns, as well as the authority to make sole source awards to SDVOSB concerns if certain conditions are met. (See Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 13 C.F.R. § 125.8-125.10). This program was developed to help agencies meet the government-wide goal that not less than 3% of the total value of all prime contract and subcontract awards be made to small businesses owned and controlled by service-disabled veterans stipulated by the Veterans Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development Act of 1999.  This 3% valuation has rarely been met over the years because of a lack of quality SDVOSB providers and buyers are eager to meet the SDVOSB procurement goal; SDVOSB Materials, Technology & Supply LLC is ready to fill that need.

New York State's Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act, which was signed into law by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo on May 12, 2014, encourages and supports eligible businesses to play a greater role in the economy of the State by increasing participation in New York State's contracting opportunities including a 6% set aside for certified SDVOB such as SDVOSB Materials, Technology & Supply LLC and we are prepared to assist our partners to meet that requirement.  Ohio has joined the call to get Vets back to work and get our incredible products and services; we're certified!

The Department of Defense (DoD) has undertaken an outreach effort to identify small businesses owned and controlled by veterans and service-disabled veterans. The DoD outreach effort aims to improve prime and subcontracting opportunities for veteran and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. The DoD believes that the sacrifices made by veterans in the service of our country needs to be recognized at all levels of government. The Defense Department is committed to make the maximum practicable prime and subcontracting opportunities available to such firms as SDVOSB Materials, Technology & Supply LLC.

The Veterans Benefits, Health Care, and Information Technology Act of 2006 (Public Law 109-461) provides the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) with unique authority for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and set-aside and sole source contracts. Harrison is currently verified in the program and is certified for the stand-alone Veterans First Verification Program.

The new hierarchy for open market procurement places a high priority with SDVOSBs, that is companies like SDVOSB Materials, Technology & Supply LLC.  This procurement authority, and its subsequent implementation, is a logical extension of mission of government organizations and companies to care for our Nation’s Disabled Combat Veterans through business, not handouts; this is the Veterans First Contracting Program.
